is a Norwegian-born illustrator with a colorful blend of Pakistani, Lebanese, and Palestinian heritage. Her diverse upbringing in Boston, MA, alongside a younger brother, fuels her artwork, celebrating family, identity, and nature through vibrant color and pattern.

Always having a strong collection of picture books and a passion for storytelling led Nez to study illustration at Rhode Island School of Design. Through a mix of traditional work and digital, her illustrations charm readers of all ages, sharing stories of embracing identity and exploring the natural world. Nez is currently based in Richmond, Virginia. She is obsessed with monkeys of all kinds, enjoys listening to ABBA, and is decidedly in favor of pineapple on pizza.
